Three Panthers scored in double figures as Bonney Lake won their season-opener, 82-65, over North Thurston in nonleague play on the road.

Ramsey Thoms chipped in a game-high 22 points, while Nathan Braun hit 19 and Chad Marquez netted 18.

Behind the trio, Bonney Lake built a 19-13 lead after the first period of play. They went into intermission with a 40-22 margin.

In the third period, the Panthers went on a 25-12 run.
