All four of Enumclaw High’s boys have made it into the second round of the state 3A golf championships in Richland, Wash.
Tee times began early Wednesday morning for the final round at Meadow Springs Country Club.
Tyler Salsbury led all Hornet golfers with an even-par 72 for fourth place after Tuesday’s opening round. Jordan Beals was one stroke behind at 73 for sixth. Jake Erickson and Tim Livermore captured the final spots into Day 2 at 79.
Scott Kim of Hanford leads with 70.
On the girls side, Lady Hornets Torey Schreiner and Kelley Sweeney advance to Day 2 at Horns Rapid Golf Course, also in Richland.
Schreiner finished 17th with an 81-stroke performance in the opening round. Sweeney sat 21st at 83.
Kristin Tan of Holy Names Academy and Savana Bezdicek of Mount Spokane led with 71.
