All the scoring came in the first half as the Bonney Lake Panthers and White River Hornets tied 1-1 Thursday in Bonney Lake. The game was not a South Puget Sound League 3A contest.

Bonney Lake took a 1-0 lead as Jenny Dewitz scored a goal off a pass from Hillary Colbert in the 16th minute of play.

The Hornets’ Ashley Powell scored 12 minutes later on an unassisted goal.

Colbert scored three goals and Savanna Moorehouse added two others as the Panthers blanked Timberline 6-0 in nonleague action Sept. 15 at home.

Dewitz also scored and Rendi Johnson recorded the shutout for Bonney Lake.

Bonney Lake travels to Enumclaw for its first SPSL 3A game today, Wednesday.
