Led by the 15th-place finishes of Jake Erickson and Tyler Salsbury, the Enumclaw High boys golf team finished fifth at the Class 3A state golf tournament at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland, Wash.

Erickson, who led after the first day of play, finished the second round of 18 holes Thursday with a 6-over par 78. Salsbury finished the second day of competition with an even-par 72. Both finished with a two-day stroke total of 150, putting them in a three-way tie for 15th.

Teammate Jordan Beals was five strokes behind in a three-way tie for 25th.

Daniel Snoey of Camas won the tournament with a two-day total of 141. After shooting even-par for the opening 18 holes, he finished the second day at 3-under par.

Mount Si, which had three golfers finish in the Top 10, claimed the team title with 113 points. Camas was second with 79. Timberline, Seattle Prep and Enumclaw finished at 68.5, 66 and 65, respectively.

The Enumclaw High girls, who played at Horn Rapids Golf Course, finished fourth with 54 points behind leader Holy Names Academy with 105, Mercer Island with 87 and Brainbridge at 63. Holy Names placed three golfers in the Top 10 for the title.

Mara Koplitz led the Hornets, finishing in a three-way tie for 12th place. She ended play the second day with a 162-stroke, two-day total. Hornet teammate Kelly Sweeney finished in a three-way tie for 17th at 166 and Tory Schreiner finished 38th.

Katrina Hegge of Seattle Prep won the tournament with a two-day total of 139.
