In the fall, the Hornets qualified four girls and three boys for the Class 3A state tournament May 25 and 26 in Richland, Wash. Seven others, five from EHS and two from White River, will tee off Monday and Tuesday at Eagles Pride Golf Course at Joint Base Lewis-McChord for the 3A West Central and Southwest District golf tournament. They will be competing for the final 14 spots, for women, and 17, for men, into the state tournament.

Tyler Salsbury and Kelly Sweeney, were Enumclaw’s top golfers in October. Jordan Beals, Jake Erickson, Torey Schreiner, Caitlin Runland and Kaylee Salsbury join them.

Hornets Tim Livermore, Colton McCluskey, Chase Dolliver, Janie Francis and Tiffany Wilkening will play Monday.

They will be joined by White River’s Tia Johnson and Rebecca Norris.

Enumclaw Hornets Dylan Kleist and Claire Hinman also qualified for the spring shootout, but cannot participate due to team number restrictions.
