The Hornets answered the scoring bell each time the larger, Class 4A Cougars crossed the goal line until the final score that came off a Hornet fumble from a lateral on the about the Central Kitsap 40.

Central Kitsap recovered the ball and took it to the end zone, with Vaughn Beebe doing the scoring honors for the Cougars. Beebe was the main scoring threat for Central Kitsap.
