Enumclaw loses to Bonney Lake at district playoffs | Girls Soccer

The Enumclaw Hornets battled Bonney Lake at Highline Stadium Saturday.

The Enumclaw Hornets battled Bonney Lake at Highline Stadium Saturday, losing 3-1, in the 3A district tournament.

The game was a loser out, winner to state.

The Hornets ended the season in fourth in the South Puget Sound League 3A with a 7-7 record and 8-10 overall.

Enumclaw High’s lacrosse team improved to 11-3 overall with a Thursday night victory over the visiting Sumner Spartans. The nonleague contest saw the Hornets jump on top early and coast to a 17-10 win. Success is nothing new to the the Enumclaw crew that captured a Class 2A/1A state title a season ago.
