Coach Bonnie Kennedy said Enumclaw’s athletes played hard and had a wonderful time playing soccer in the sunshine.

“We are really proud of the team work and great sportsmanship,” she said. “If you see any of our kids ask them about the games, let them know they did a great job and watch for those smiles.”

The Enumclaw Thunder team captured the gold medal and will be the only all-athlete team representing King County at the state tournament June 4 and 5 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The team is made up of athletes Kyle Kennedy, Anna Hertzog, Colton Cormier, Michael Keating, Sam Keating, Rockie Cormier, Naveed Huziq, Joseph Landon, Spencer Cline and Kaylie Sines.
