First meet for local swim and dive squads

Enumclaw and White River faced off Clover Park virtually on March 4.

A sign of the sporting times played out March 4 when swimmers and divers from Enumclaw and White River gathered at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center; their opponents from Clover Park did the same on their end.

Then, they compared results to determine the “virtual” meet.

Enumclaw 121, Clover Park 13 (CP competes remotely)

Enumclaw event winners: 200 medley relay (Anna Bogh, Kate Perlot, Clara Madewell, Reagan Molen); Bogh, 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle; Madewell, 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke; Molen, 50 freestyle; Ashley Dickerson, diving; Perlot, 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke; 200 relay (Madewell, Kelly, Smith, Maxwell); 400 freestyle relay (Bogh, Perlot, Molen, Walski).

White River 69, Clover Park 15 (CP competes remotely)

White River event winners: 200 medley relay (Brooklyn Fessler, Sam Sapp, Cheyenne Fessler, Lilly Schatz); Mackenzie Hale, 200 freestyle; B. Fessler, 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle; C. Fessler, 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle; Sapp, 100 butterfly; 200 freestyle relay (Sapp, Hale, C. Fessler, B. Fessler); Schatz 100 breaststroke.
