The Sumner girls cross country team ran sixth at the South Puget Sound League subdistrict meet taking sixth with a score of 147 Saturday at Fort Steilacoom Park.

Emma Sjolund was the top runner for the Spartans running second in 19 minutes, 38.19 seconds

The boys team took eighth scoring 166.

Jordan Landes was the top finisher with 17:33.17 for 25th.
