MONDAY PREP SOCCER: White River falls to Franklin Pierce, Bonney Lake loses to Capital

The Bonney Lake Panthers slipped to 2-3-2 overall Monday night, dropping a nonleague soccer battle to Capital High.

The Panthers’ lone goal in a 7-1 loss was delivered by Zach Pettit in the 79th minute, courtesy of an assist by JD Walter.

Bonney Lake’s next game comes Wednesday at home against Franklin Pierce. The South Puget Sound League 3A battle begins at 7 p.m.

The White River Hornets fell 2-0 Monday night to the visiting Franklin Pierce Cardinals.

With the loss, White River fell to 0-1-1 in South Puget Sound League 3A play.

Next up for the Hornets is a Wednesday game against Clover Park. The league contest begins at 7 p.m.

As of 10 p.m., results of the game between Enumclaw and Sumner had not been reported.
