The entire Sumner Spartans gymnastics team is headed to this weekend’s district meet, thanks to a third-place finish at Saturday’s subdistrict event at Kentwood High School.
Sumner High took a half dozen grapplers to Saturday’s South Puget Sound League 3A subdistrict wrestling tournament at Auburn Mountainview High School and had three advance to the coming district competition.

The Enumclaw High boys swim team heads off to Hazen High Friday and Saturday for the West Central District III 3A meet. The top swimmers and divers Saturday head to the state swim meet Feb. 20 and 21 at the King County Aquatic Center.
