The Bonney Lake boys lost to Lakes 77-48 on the road Saturday in a makeup game that was postponed from Dec. 18 due to a snow storm.

The Panthers fell to White River 61-49 at home Friday.

Bonney Lake hosted Franklin Pierce Jan. 6 and took the Cardinals into overtime before losing 76-69.

The Panthers were scheduled to play a nonleague game against Timberline Monday. Scores were not available.

Bonney Lake will host district rival Sumner at 7 p.m. Friday.

In the Lakes game, Panther Chad Marquez led the scoring with 13 points and Hunter Colegrove added 10.

Coach John Hofstrand said the team has been “hanging in and playing hard. We are looking forward to the second half of the season.”

At home against White River the leading scorer for the Panthers was Baltazar with 13 followed by Marquez with 12.

In the overtime game against Franklin Pierce, Bonney Lake’s Nathan Braun hit 19 to lead the scoring for both teams. Marquez came in at 18, Baltazar had 13 and Peterson scored 10 points.
