Potterf nails season best

The Panthers scored 135 points during a home meet with Auburn Mountainview coming in first with 163.8. Thomas Jefferson was second with 155 and North Thurston was fourth at 133.95.

It was senior night and coach Kathleen Kirkpatrick noted the senior girls hit some of their best scores of the season.

On the vault, Kelsi Potterf came in fifth with an 8.6, tying her best score of the season. She was ninth on the bars with 6.2, fifth on the beam with 8.4, third in the floor event with 8.9 and third in the all-around with 8.9. Both the floor and all around scores tied her season high.

Sarah Skinner was 10th overall with 26.2. On the bars she hit a season-high 5.6.

Courtney Fisher came in 11th all-around with a 25.25. She scored 7.4 on the vault, a career high, 7.15 on the beam and 6.6 in the floor routine. The beam and floor were season highs for Fisher.

Tracy Hare was 11th on the vault with 8.3 and 7.0 on the beam, both season highs.

The Bonney Lake gymnasts traveled to Kentlake Monday for a meet against Beamer and Kentlake. Scores were not available.

The Panthers are on the road tonight, Wednesday, with a 7 p.m. meet at Sumner against the Spartans and Tahoma.
