It was more of the same Friday at Emerald Downs, as Roarified scored her latest victory in the $13,750 Electric League of the Pacific Northwest Purse at Emerald Downs.

Ridden by Isaias Enriquez, Roarified ran 6 ½ furlongs in 1:15.44 on a fast track and paid $4.60, $3 and $2.10. Roarified set fractions of :22.17, :44.67 and 1:09.07, rolling home 3 ½ lengths clear of 14-to-1 long shot Cheese Danish.

Doris Harwood is the winning trainer for owners Michael Pollowitz and Jeffrey Wilson.

A 5-year-old Washington-bred by Roar-Sugar Sleet, Roarified has a 10-0-0 record in 14 starts, and she tied Itstufftobegood for third fastest horse to 10 wins in track history. Multiple stakes winner Ropersandwranglers and Victory Script both needed only 12 starts to reach the 10-win mark.

However, Roarified doesn’t merely win races, she romps. Her winning margins are 10 ¼, 2 ¾, 1 ¼, 1 ¼, 1 ½, 6 ¾, 4 ¼, 1 ¼, 4 and 3 ½ lengths. The first eight victories were for trainer Chris Stenslie and owners One Horse Will Do Corp and Tina and Scott Saxwold, with the most recent two for the Harwood, Pollowitz and Wilson connection.

With Friday’s victory, Roarified also became the meet’s first three-time winner.

Cheese Danish, ridden by Debbie Hoonan, was clearly second best and paid $9 and $3.40. Stpehanie Plum, the 9-to-5 second choice ridden by Leonel Camacho-Flores, finished third and paid $3.

Just Have’n Fun, Private Fortune and Mum’s Joke completed the order of finish. River of Aces was scratched.

Enriquez said the trip on Roarified was simple and successful.

“She made the lead pretty easy, and I looked back twice to see if anyone was coming,” he said. “Nobody was coming, and we got the money.”
