Two Sumner cross country runners qualified for state at the West Central District meet Saturday, Nov. 1, at American Lake Golf Course in Lakewood.

Emma Sjolund ran sixth at the district meet with a time of 20:00.7.

Abby Marcotte came in 19th in 20:47.93.

The two will run at the state meet Nov. 8 at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.
