The Spartans took second place at the 3A district tournament.

Sumner will play Seattle Prep in the first round of state. The time and place are to be determined.

The Spartans beat Central Kitsap 1-0 Nov, 6 in the first round at districts.

Saturday Sumner lost 2-1 to Columbia River in the district championship round.
