The White River fastpitch crew’s record moved to 4-9 as it won a nonleague, 12-3 contest against Class 1A Orting and then Thursday lost to Bonney Lake 10-0 in a five-inning affair.

The White River fastpitch crew’s record moved to 4-9 as it won a nonleague, 12-3 contest against Class 1A Orting and then Thursday lost to Bonney Lake 10-0 in a five-inning affair.

Against Orting, Brooke Paulson went 4 for 4, while Aubrey Custer and Samantha Mitchell went 3 for 3.

White River found the hits a bit more difficult to come by against Bonney Lake, as they managed only a couple in the five-inning encounter.

There are only two games slated on the schedule. The Hornets were to travel to Sumner Tuesday and host Enumclaw Thursday.
