White River girls win close game at state | Girls State Basketball Tournament

The White River girls took a 52-50 over Lake Washington today, March 7, at the Yakima SunDome.

The White River girls took a 52-50 over Lake Washington today, March 7, at the Yakima SunDome.

The Hornets will play East Valley (Spokane) at 8 a.m. tomorrow for the fourth-place trophy.

Enumclaw High’s lacrosse team improved to 11-3 overall with a Thursday night victory over the visiting Sumner Spartans. The nonleague contest saw the Hornets jump on top early and coast to a 17-10 win. Success is nothing new to the the Enumclaw crew that captured a Class 2A/1A state title a season ago.
