White River wins first round in 2A subdistrict tournament | Boys Basketball

The White River boys basketball team beat Steilacoom 65-52 in the first round of the 2A subdistrict tournament.

The White River boys basketball team beat Steilacoom 65-52 in the first round of the 2A subdistrict tournament.

The Hornets host Clover Park Thursday, Feb. 13 in the second round of the tournament.

Enumclaw High’s lacrosse team improved to 11-3 overall with a Thursday night victory over the visiting Sumner Spartans. The nonleague contest saw the Hornets jump on top early and coast to a 17-10 win. Success is nothing new to the the Enumclaw crew that captured a Class 2A/1A state title a season ago.
