Pierce County Community Connections Aging & Disability Resources (ADR) is initiating a process to gather community input for the creation of the 2016-2019 Area Plan. The Area Plan establishes funding priorities and the array of services that will be provided to support older adults and adults with disabilities who are living in the community.

The City of Bonney Lake received an application for a shoreline substantial development permit (SSDP) exemption and a State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Environmental Review for the replacement of an existing residential bulkhead within the City of Bonney Lake. The application was submitted on February 19, 2015 and determined complete for the purpose of review on February 23, 2015.
Beginning March 1, the Pierce County Auditor’s Office will provide pet licensing and animal control services to all Fife citizens. The City of Fife has entered into an interlocal agreement with Pierce County for services such as barking dogs, strays, pet licensing, and animal complaints. Pierce County will soon be Fife’s one-stop-shop for animal services.
