Bonney Lake police protect and serve breakfast, raise money for Chief-For-A-Day | SLIDESHOW
The Bonney Lake Police Department served up breakfast to Applebee’s customers Saturday to raise money for its Chief For A Day.
Participating police departments anoint one child with a life threatening or chronic disease as Chief for August 16. On that day, each department’s Chief will be transported by motorcade from CenturyLink Field to the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission. Each child receives a hand-tailored uniform from their sponsoring agency.
The Applebee’s fundraiser served to raise money for the Chief’s family.
UPDATE: According to the City of Bonney Lake’s official blog, the Department raised more than $700 Saturday.

Our family enthusiastically supports Jan Molinaro as Enumclaw’s next mayor. His operations and fiscal management along with his leadership experience is superlative and would be greatly valued as a visionary leader of our community.
