Officers observed two cars at a red light at 192nd ave. One car started revving its engine, and when the light turned green, both took off. One car slowed when it reached the speed limit, but the other kept accelerating.

CAUGHT RACING: Officers observed two cars at a red light at 192nd ave. One car started revving its engine, and when the light turned green, both took off. One car slowed when it reached the speed limit, but the other kept accelerating. Officers safely caught up to the vehicle when it stopped at a red light and activated the emergency lights. The driver was cited for racing and released.

NO LONGER WELCOME: Officers were called March 15 to a report of an domestic dispute. The reporting party told officers her granddaughter was staying as a residence that no longer wanted her there, so she went to pick her granddaughter up. When she arrived, her granddaughter grabbed her cell phone and threw it on the ground. No damage was done to the phone or injuries to the reporting party. Officers located the granddaughter, who resisted arrest. She was charged with obstructing and resisting arrest and transported to the Nisqually Tribal Jail.
