PUMPKIN DESTRUCTION/SMASH CANCER AT MARIS FARMS ON HALLOWEEN DAY

Maris Farms will sponsor a ‘Smash-tastic’ event to raise money for local affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Enjoy a first-of-its-kind in Pierce County – the inaugural Pumpkin Destruction/Smash Cancer event. Join Maris Farms, Snell Crane and Monster Energy Drink as well as several other partner businesses on Saturday, Oct. 31st for a day of pumpkin crushing, tossing and smashing activities.

Faris Farms is found between Buckley and Bonney Lake on the Sumner-Buckley Highway.

Saturday’s farm visitors can take part in the destruction of Maris pumpkins or bring their own! Don’t miss exciting activities like the Monster Truck Pumpkin Smash, Ooey Gooey Pumpkin Walk and Pumpkin Bowling! There will be three pumpkin drops from high atop the pumpkin patch. Using one of Snell Crane’s large boom trucks, staff will drop pumpkins at 12:30, 2:30 and 5 pm. And there will be prize drawings for folks who choose to participate in the ‘destruction’ activities!

Proceeds from everyone’s entry that day will help benefit the Puget Sound Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
