Native American history lesson with local author

An historical account of Chief Leschi and the history of Puget Sound Native Americans, up to the Indian Wars of 1855-56, will be discussed at the Bonney Lake library by author Michael Schein. Bonney Lake Pierce County Library, 18501 90th St. East, will host the free event at 2 p.m., Nov. 16.

An historical account of Chief Leschi and the history of Puget Sound Native Americans, up to the Indian Wars of 1855-56, will be discussed at the Bonney Lake library by author Michael Schein. Bonney Lake Pierce County Library, 18501 90th St. East, will host the free event at 2 p.m., Nov. 16.

Participants will explore the concepts of war and cultural clash with the author. Schein has written two historical novels, including “Bones Beneath Our Feet”.
