The Plunge into Lake Tapps’ chilly waters is a metaphor for the shock experienced by victims of domestic violence.

Exodus House is currently serving 42 families in the Bonney Lake area.

The Plunge is scheduled for 11 a.m. Oct. 27.

Courier-Herald reporter Brian Beckley is planning to take the Plunge this year and has set up a fundraising page for those interested in donating to the cause. If you’d like to contribute, click here.
