Single car crash claims lives of two Enumclaw men Friday evening

A Friday evening crash near Enumclaw took the lives of two young men.

A Friday evening crash near Enumclaw took the lives of two young men.

According to the King County Sheriff’s Office the single-vehicle crash occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on Southeast 432 and 284th Avenue Southeast, known also as the pickle factory road.

Driving the 2001 Volkswagen GTI was 19-year-old Justin Glasco. His 20-year-old passenger was Alfredo Gonzalez. Both were from Enumclaw and died as a result of the accident.

According to the sheriff’s office report, both were wearing seat belts and speed was a factor in the crash.

The sheriff’s office reported there was no ice on the road at the time of the incident.

At the scene of the crash it appeared the vehicle left the road, hit a fence line and crashed into a large tree in the front yard of a home.

The sheriff’s office reported no further investigation of the crash is being conducted.
