Rather than participating in Black Friday sales, a number of local stores throughout Sumner and Bonney Lake are taking part in Small Business Saturday (SBS).

Small Business Saturday is a day to celebrate those local, hometown stores that create jobs and build the economy, according to the American Express Shop Small’s website.
