Summer events scheduled for the week of August 4 | Bonney Lake

On Monday, August 4th, at 6:30 pm the City of Bonney Lake will be hosting the weekly Kids Club at Allan Yorke Park. Kid-Hop Musician, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo will be performing.

The following is a press release from the City of Bonney Lake announcing the summer events scheduled for next week starting on August 4.

Kids Club

On Monday, August 4th, at 6:30 pm the City of Bonney Lake will be hosting the weekly Kids Club at Allan Yorke Park. Kid-Hop Musician, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo will be performing.

Known as “The King of Kid-Hop”, Secret Agent 23 Skidoo has been performing in the children’s music scene since 2008. He performs children friendly hip hop music and tours with his family. Kids are sure to enjoy! The program will last about 45 minutes.

On Tuesday, August 5th at 11 am, Last Leaf Productions will be at the park. Last Leaf is a nonprofit, touring theatre company creating educational and entertaining programs for communities in Washington State. The performance will last for about one hour.

National Night Out

On Tuesday, August 5th at 6:30 pm, Allen Yorke Park will host National Night Out. National Night out is an annual event designed to enhance crime and drug prevention awareness, as well as strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. This event will include a showing of the movie “Hotel Transylvania”, which will begin at dusk.

Bonney Lake Farmers Market

On Wednesday, August 6th at 5:00 pm the City of Bonney Lake will be hosting the weekly Farmers Market at Allan Yorke Park. The Market will be open from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. There will be numerous local crafters and vendors.

Tunes @ Tapps

On Wednesday, August 6 at 6:30pm Folsom Prism, a modern tribute to Johnny Cash, will perform at Allan Yorke Park. While holding true to Cash’s songs, Folsom Prism adds a distinctive edge in their performance. They will perform for approximately 90 minutes.

Movies In the Park

On Saturday, August 9th there will be a family movie watching experience at Allen Yorke Park. The “Lego Movie” will be on the big screen, be sure to come on down and join us for a free flick! The film will begin at dusk.
