Suspect in stabbing of 14-year-old boy near Enumclaw turns himself in to King County Sheriff’s

Stabbing suspect James “Jimmy” Sweet turned himself in to King County Sheriff’s detective yesterday, Aug. 28.

Sheriff’s office spokeswoman Cindi West said the man’s family saw him on the news and told him to turn himself in to the detectives.

The incident occurred Saturday evening.

The 14-year-old boy who was stabbed was transferred to Harborview and reported as stable following surgery.
