I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, the voters, for approving the EMS Levy Lid Lift on April 26th. Resetting the collection rate back to the previously approved 50 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value will allow us to continue delivering the quality service you expect and deserve.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, the voters, for approving the EMS Levy Lid Lift on April 26th. Resetting the collection rate back to the previously approved 50 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value will allow us to continue delivering the quality service you expect and deserve.

The additional revenues will also permit us to continue our practice of “no out of pocket expenses” for emergency medical transports of our citizens. In addition, we will begin preparing to add a desperately needed paramedic unit to our system to handle the on-going increase in calls for emergency medical service.

We understand that we must do everything possible to spend your money wisely. We will continue to seek efficiencies, spend wisely and do what we can to maintain your trust.
