Panthers lose in the first round | Bonney Lake Girl’s Soccer

The Bonney Lake Panthers' girl's soccer team lost 5-0 against Bellevue in the first round of the state championships on Nov. 12.

The Bonney Lake Panthers’ girl’s soccer team lost 5-0 against Bellevue in the first round of the state championships on Nov. 12.

This is the sixth season Bonney Lake has advanced to the playoffs.

With the loss the Panthers end the season 8-2-0 in league play and 15-4-1 overall.

Enumclaw High’s lacrosse team improved to 11-3 overall with a Thursday night victory over the visiting Sumner Spartans. The nonleague contest saw the Hornets jump on top early and coast to a 17-10 win. Success is nothing new to the the Enumclaw crew that captured a Class 2A/1A state title a season ago.
