On August 23, John and Janene Maryanski’s consistent Rocky’s Quest added another win in the mile Emerald feature race. It was his tenth win and pushed his earnings to $137,310. Bred in Kentucky by Northwest Farms LLC, the gray/roan gelding by Rockport Harbor is out of stakes-placed Silver Echo, by Eastern Echo.

Corky’s Luck, a three-year-old gelding by Lucky Acres’ Kentucky Lucky-Jazzabet, by Jazzing Around, bred in Washington by Steve and Sally Meredith, went gate-to-wire to take a 6 1/2-furlong $12,000 maiden claiming race by 7 3/4 lengths at Northlands Park for Riversedge Racing Stables Ltd on August 22.

Five-year-old Mr Gnarly took his second allowance and third win overall at Desert Park on August 16. Bred in Washington by Carol E. Noonan, the winner is a gelded son of Munger Farm’s Nacheezmo-Tricky Ray, by Xray.

Mullers Canyon, a four-year-old gelding by Delineator-Pe Ell Belle, by Believe It, bred by Jerry and Peggy Woods, won a $10,000 maiden claiming race at Columbus on August 22.
