Brian Scalabrine opened the NBA’s regular season with Chicago. The Enumclaw High graduate scored two points in 10 minutes of play during the Bulls’ 106-95 loss to Oklahoma City Oct. 27. He followed it up with 20 minutes and a 6-point night on 3-for-4 shooting from the field in the Bulls’ 101-91 win over Detroit Saturday.

Scalabrine scored seven points in the Chicago Bulls’ preseason season opener Oct. 22 against Indiana; 14 in the Bulls’ win over Toronto and eight against Orlando.

Against Toronto, the 6-foot-9 forward went 6 for 7 from the field and 2-of-3 from 3-point range.

In his ninth year in the NBA, Scalabrine, 32, earned a spot on the Bulls’ roster. A free agent after spending the past five seasons with the Boston Celtics, the University of Southern California standout was a second-round selection by the New Jersey Nets in the 2001 NBA draft.
