Sumner finished the season fourth in the South Puget Sound League 3A with a 7-7 conference record and 8-7 overall.

The Panthers finished the season one spot under the Spartans in fifth place with a 6-8 conference record and 7-8 overall.

The Spartans and Panthers enter the 3A District as the No. 4 and No. 5 seeds, respectively.

The tournament will be held at Auburn Mountainview starting on Friday, Nov. 7.
