Spartans, Panthers go 3-0 tonight | Prep Basketball

The Bonney Lake Panthers girls basketball team and the Sumner Spartans girls and boys basketball teams went 3-0 Friday in the districts tournament.

The Bonney Lake Panthers girls basketball team and the Sumner Spartans girls and boys basketball teams went 3-0 Friday in the districts tournament.

The Bonney Lake girls beat Columbia River 43-38.

The Panthers advance to the final game of the tournament at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday against Auburn Mountainview at Clover Park High School.

If Bonney Lake wins it will rank fifth entering regionals but with a loss the Panthers season will end.

Sumner Girls

The Spartans beat Port Angeles 46-29 in the districts semi finals Friday.

Sumner secured its spot in the championship game at 4 p.m. on Saturday against conference rival White River at Pacific Lutheran University.

Sumner Boys

The Spartans won 55-47 against Sequim on Friday.

The boys advance to play Clover Park at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Foss High School. The winner will rank fifth entering regionals and the loser’s season will end.
