Action Landscape takes recreation crown

Action Landscape went through the league with a record of 9-1 and captured the Sumner/Bonney Lake Recreation Department’s men’s fall basketball championship. In the playoffs the team first defeated Elk Head Brewery 49-33 then beat Venim 71-60 at Lakeridge Middle School. The high scorer for Action Landscape was Justin Dobson with 14 points against Elkhead Brewery and 21 points against Venim. The team is coached by Chris Kaiser. Registration fees for the winter leagues, for both open and 30-and-older is due on Dec. 29.

SMS JV baseball goes undefeated

The Sumner Middle School junior varsity baseball team went undefeated this season. The Bobcats were 9-0 with one tie. The team was coached by Joe Walling and Logan Muhooly.
