Students can test their science skills in the 4-H National Science Experiment “Biofuel Blast” at 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, at the Buckley Youth Activity Center, 251 River Ave. S.
Youth Director Ellen Colgan said the Biofuel Blast is “another way to get kids interested in science,” and will go back-to-back with the youth center’s regular Wednesday science programming which begins at 5 p.m.
The Biofuel Blast is hosted by the Washington State University Extension as part of 4-H National Youth Science Day. The hands-on event provides students an opportunity to participate in, and learn about, environmental issues that face the global community.
