DRIVER CHARGED
• A traffic stop at 5:10 a.m. Thursday resulted in a driver taken into custody for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was turned over to a passenger.
BUSINESS DISPUTE
• Officers were called to a Blake Street address Thursday morning to handle a dispute regarding a vehicle repair that had not been completed. The vehicle was in a locked garage and the officer remained on the scene while the homeowner opened the garage to the vehicle could be removed by a towing company, at the owner’s request.
THEFT FROM AUTO
• A man told police Thursday that items had been stolen from his automobile while it was parked in a Battersby Avenue parking lot.
TRAFFIC COMPLAINT
• A motorist notified police Thursday, complaining of a driver who had been “tailgating” him from Bonney Lake to Enumclaw, then passed recklessly near the intersection of Semanski Street and state Route 410. The caller then followed the other driver to a city residence. Police made contact with the suspect driver, related the complaint and offered advice about driving habits.
DRUG CHARGES
• A traffic stop at 11:30 p.m Thursday on Griffin Avenue resulted in the driver being taken into custody for possession of both marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was turned over to someone else.
TWO CHARGES
• A driver was arrested at 3:10 a.m. Dec. 2 at the intersection of Farman Street and Battersby Avenue and booked for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. The vehicle was impounded and the driver was later released to a parent
TOO LOUD
• Police responded at 12:45 a.m. Dec. 2 following a complaint of a loud party at a Battersby Avenue address. The subjects were advised to keep things quiet.
VEHICLE PROWL
• After hearing of a vehicle prowl, officers responded at 5:31 a.m. Dec. 2 to Enumclaw Regional Hospital. They found a damaged vehicle but could not locate the registered owner. Information was taken for a follow-up report.
SCAM ATTEMPT
• A citizen went to the police station the afternoon of Dec. 2, reporting she had received a telephone call alerting her to the fact she was a prize winner – but she had to send money before the prize could be sent. She provided neither money nor information, but filed a police report instead.
HARASSMENT
• A woman asked police Dec. 2 to contact a known suspect who had been sending her harassing e-mails. An officer contacted the suspect and advised him to halt the e-mails. The woman agreed to block his e-mails in the future.
SUSPICIOUS
• Security staff at a Semanski Street school sought police assistance Dec. 1 after a suspicious subject was seen on school grounds. The suspect had departed, but school staff wanted the incident documented and asked for additional patrol.
TOO DARK
• A Dec. 1 caller asked for additional police patrol in the alley between Cole and Wells Street. The caller was concerned about the darkness, which makes it difficult to walk and allows for potential criminal activity.
CUSTOMER TROUBLE
• Police responded Dec. 1 to a suspected intoxicated driver at a Garrett Street business. Police contacted the man, who was eventually taken to Enumclaw Regional Hospital for evaluation.
ASSAULT
• An officer responded Nov. 30 to an Initial Place address following a report of an auto accident and an assault. All parties were contacted and one suspect was arrested for fourth-degree assault and hit-and-run.
TIRES SLASHED
• Police were told at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 30 of an assault and slashing of tires at a Sorenson Avenue address. The suspect was not immediately located but was being sought for possible assault and malicious mischief charges.
ASSAULT
• A Watson Street resident called police shortly after 9 p.m. Nov. 30, reporting that she could hear a woman screaming and sounds of a possible struggle coming from a nearby apartment. Officers responded and arrested a man for assault and interfering with a domestic violence report.
