Defending South Puget Sound League 3A champion Enumclaw High claimed its first league victory of the 2010 season with a 4-1 win over Peninsula March 23. The Hornets, 3-0 overall on the season, were rained out for their second league contest with Sumner Friday.

Against the Seahawks, Hornet No. 2 singles player Alex Putman won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.

The doubles teams were led by Lauren Redman and Anna Nelson who won 6-0, 6-0. In the No. 2 spot, Breanna Pierce and Gina Sanders captured a 6-3, 6-0 victory, while the No. 3 doubles team of Julie Sanders and Bedda Johnson won 6-0, 6-0.
