Lakeridge Middle School ‘Hawkshun’ set for April 30

Lakeridge Middle School’s annual fundraising Hawkshun is planned for April 30 at Swiss Sportsman Club Park.

Doors to the event – with a Rock Around the Clock theme – will open at 4:30 and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

The evening will include a 1950s-themed dinner, complete with appetizers served by roller skaters in poodle skirts. The Lakeridge Jazz Band and seventh-grade choir will provide entertainment. In addition, Danny Vernon will perform his show “Illusions of Elvis.” There will be a dessert auction, silent auction, raffle items and live auction.

The cost is $20 per person, including dinner.

Swiss Park is at 9205 198th Ave. E. in Bonney Lake.
