Wolfpack Midgets score shutout
The Valley Wolfpack Midgets scored another shutout, defeating Federal Way 25-0. Isaiah Weed threw two touchdown passes, one to Kyler Ooley and another to Triston Wedington. The Midget running game was nearly unstoppable with Nigel Teets and Dillon Jordan both scoring touchdowns. The Midgets’ defense was all over the field, getting their third shutout of the season.
The 89ers suffered their first loss of the season to the Federal Way Hawks. The Wolfpack 89ers had the ball on the Hawks 1 foot line, but were unable to get the ball in the end zone and turned the ball over on downs. The Hawks in turn ran a fake punt back 99 yards, increasing their lead to 13-6, the final score of the game.
The Bantams earned a big win with a 33-0 shutout against their Federal Way opponents. Tyson Rainwater started things off with a TD and Connor Weddington and Jared Selander put the ball in the end zone as well. The offensive line of Bubbah, Moore, Hornbuckle, Pumpkin, Luddy, Thomas and Selander played great football. The defense was on fire all day long, keeping Federal Way out of the end zone. After the fourth quarter started, the second and silver squad took care of business, with Tommy “Gun” Peltram running 40 yards off tackle run for a TD.
The Sweet Peas and Pee Wees both left with tough losses, 45-7 and 13-0, respectively.
The Valley Wolfpack is preparing to face Enumclaw at Pete’s Pool Sunday.
