The annual Bonney Lake Tree Lighting and Food Drive is scheduled for Saturday at the Public Safety Building.

The Bonney Lake Kiwanis are again sponsoring the event, which will include activities, music, refreshments, candy, pictures with Santa and the annual tree-lighting celebration.

Donations for the Bonney Lake Food Bank will also be accepted all day at the site and anytime at the Food Bank, 18409 Sumner-Buckley Hwy.

The celebration and official lighting ceremony gets under way at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Public Safety Building.
