Accident sends one to St. Elizabeth | Enumclaw police reports May 18-20

INJURY ACCIDENT: Police responded at 1 p.m. May 20 to a two-car accident that resulted in injury. The incident, handled by the Washington State Patrol, resulted in one person being transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

PACKAGE THEFT: An officer contacted a victim May 18 regarding the theft of a package valued at $827. There were no immediate suspects. The package had been dropped by UPS at a residence on Southeast 432nd Street.

ARREST WARRANT: A woman told police May 18 the driver of a black Toyota nearly struck her while she was in a Watson Street parking lot. When confronted, the driver allegedly admitted he had tried to hit her. Contact was made and one subject was found to be wanted on an Auburn arrest warrant. He was transported to meet with Auburn authorities.

INTOXICATED: Police were called shortly before midnight May 18 to a Griffin Avenue business where an intoxicated female patron had been stuck in a bathroom for 45 minutes while family members attempted to get her out. The woman was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

PROBLEM CUSTOMER: Staff at a Roosevelt Avenue business notified police May 18 of a person attempting to use an invalid gift card. The subject was gone upon police arrival. Staff completed a trespass letter for the original card holder, due to ongoing shoplifting problems with him.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT: After 11 a.m. Nov. 18, police took a report of an aggressive dog running loose in the 1200 block of Porter Avenue. An officer placed a “high priority” call to King County Animal Control.

INVOLUNTARY COMMIT: Police and fire department personnel responded at 11 a.m. May 17 to a Harding Street address. The situation resulted in one person involuntarily committed.
