Betty E. Cunningham

Longtime area resident Betty E. Cunningham died July 31, 2012, at the age of 92.
She was born Nov. 25, 1919, in Great Falls, Mont., to Herman C. and May L. Nebel. She moved to Gardiner, Wash., graduated from Sequim High School in 1936 and married Art L. Cunningham in 1937. She moved to Greenwater in 1950, moved to Enumclaw in 1988 and later to Kennewick, Wash. She was a career homemaker who is remembered for baking and sewing. She was a member of the Greenwater Fire Department Auxiliary and Northwest Bible Church.
She is survived by daughters Eleanor Eaton of Seattle, Louise Johnson and husband Jack of Enumclaw and Alice Shea and husband Bob of Kennewick; son Jim Cunningham and wife Patti of Auburn; three sisters; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A family celebration of her life will be planned for a later date.
Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
