Last year’s Longacres Mile champ Awesome Gem has arrived at Emerald Downs.

CRK Stable’s Gladding arrived from Southern California early Friday morning in advance of Sunday’s Longacres Mile. The 5-year-old Sarava gelding is the 3-to-1 second choice and comes off a  6-1/4 length victory in the Alamedan Handicap at Pleasanton, Calif.
