Unona Unnetta Olson “Mrs. T” Thompson, died Aug. 3, 2013.
She was born April 14, 1935, in Plentywood, Mont., to Anton and Evelyn Olson, and was the sister of Monya Olson Hunt and Bob Olson. A 1953 graduate of Buckley High School, she pursued a nursing career at the Northern Pacific Railroad Hospital. She married Albert “Tommy” Thompson in 1967 and dedicated her time to caring for him and sons Aaron Scott (wife Erica Morgan) and Lonney Dickinson (wife Lisa); two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She loved riding motorcycles, making decorative cakes for weddings and birthdays and shopping at garage sales. She recently received her 50-year pin from the Fraternal Order of Eagles Women’s Auxiliary.
A memorial will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Buckley Eagles.
