Enumclaw resident David Michael Kuhns, 65, died Sept. 22, 2013, in University Place, Wash.
He was born Dec. 21, 1947, in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was a military veteran and had worked 23 years as a counselor at Compass Health until retiring nine months ago.
He is survived by brothers Shawn Kuhns and family of Enumclaw, Howard Kuhns and family of Jupiter, Fla., and Larry Kuhns and family of Plymouth, Mich.
Curnow Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Burial was at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
