Participants of the Sumner Citizen’s Academy witnessed a live demonstration from K-9 Maverick and his handler, Officer Karuzas of the Puyallup Police Department on Thursday, March 13. Officer Loren Houselog of the Sumner Police Department assisted in the demonstration.

Class also included a presentation by Metro Animal Services and a Taser demonstration.
