Vehicle spotted in Lake Tapps flume | East Pierce Fire and Rescue

A vehicle was found in a Lake Tapps outlet flume on Oct. 24

East Pierce Firefighters, Washington State Patrol & Pierce County Sheriffs have gathered at an outlet flume of Lake Tapps near 1800 Bonney Lake-Sumner Tapps Highway East on the morning of Oct. 24.

A State Trooper spotted a vehicle in the flume this morning.

Crews are attempting to remove the vehicle. No persons have been located inside.
